Your Own Home Store Team Training: Hobbiest Training

If you joined THRIVE Life because you want to be able to share their products with friends and family as a hobby when you have the time and when the opportunity arises, then the information in this training should make this as easy as possible for you!

This training has two parts: (1) Basic and (2) Advanced. I suggest completing the basic training before the advanced. YThe basic training consists of the six steps you see listed below.

The advanced training is the FUN stuff. It is full of all the tools and tips people want right from the start. But those tools and tips will do you a LOT more good if you have a good basic understanding of the things on this BASIC page first.

Step #1. Complete the Savvy Shopper Training

Before you can become a successful "hobbiest," you need to be a savvy shopper! All five of the tips in the Savvy Shopper Training will help you know how to maximize your own benefits as a consultant. This is important because you want to get your products (especially since you will be giving them to others for free as samples) as inexpensive as possible.

But the first four steps in the Savvy Shopper Training are important to you for another reason. When a friend or family member decides to create a Q, you will need to know how to help them maximize their own Q. Those four tips will help anyone with a Q to get the best bang for their buck!

Step #2. Take a Quick Back Office Tour

You will often hear consultants reference the "back office." This is simply your "office" as a consultant. This is where you will place orders, find order forms, access additional training information, find company policies and track your earnings.

As long as you are logged in to the THRIVE Life site, you can find this office at www.thrivelife.com/myoffice. Watch the following video to familiarize yourself with the "back office."

Step #3. Set Up Your Direct Deposit and Know When You Will Be Paid What

Make sure you set up your direct deposit in your MyOffice (www.thrivelife.com/myoffice) by hovering over your name in the top right corner, then selecting My Profile. It will be the bottom option on the lefthand side of your screen.

As a Hobbiest consultant who will be getting paid more regularly than a Savvy Shopper, you should also know when your commission period is. You get paid on the 15th for every sale you made during the previous month from the 1st at midnight Mountain time through the last day of the month at 11:59 mountain time.

For example, your August check would include commission for every one time sale or Q that actually processes from July 1st at 12:00 am Mountain time - July 31st st at 11:59 pm Mountain time.

This does not mean that all your parties / events have to be closed. You can submit an order to THRIVE and they will package and ship it even if the party is still open. A party / event can stay open for 90 days. You do not have to wait until the party closes for your commission.

Step #4. Complete the "Prepare" and "Act" Portions of the PATH

The most important thing you can do as a new consultant is to start on your "PATH" to success! The PATH is a four step training tool (1-Prepare, 2-Act, 3-Teach, 4-Hone) created by THRIVE Life to help you succeed.

As a "hobbiest" in this business, the most important sections of the PATH for you will be the first two (Prepare and Act). These two sections will teach you about the products you are sharing as well as how to share those products successfully. Completing them thoroughly should take you around 2-4 hours total. One important part of this training will be booking your first class. As soon as you do this, be sure you email me the date and time so I can be available.

You can start your PATH in the back office. Just click on PATH at the top left. Make sure that every time it gives you the option to submit something to your enroller that you do so. That way, I can follow along with your progress and know when you complete the first two sections.

And you want to complete them! Three months after becoming consultants, those who have done the PATH are earning TEN TIMES as much as those who do not use the PATH. Amazing, huh?!
