My Supplies

Since I've started as a Thrive Life consultant, I've accumulated quite a few supplies.  I've listed them for you below.  However, I don't recommend going out and purchasing them all at once.  Do it as you can afford to.  I will list these in priority order (in my opinion), with a bit of info about how and why I use each one.  In addition, you can click on each item to see where I purchase them.  I believe I've found a pretty good deal in most cases, but if you know of a better deal, just let us know in the comments!

Ink

Printing things at home is far less expensive than having things printed or copied elsewhere.  But if you choose to do this, you will use a lot of ink printing the paperwork for parties.  I've spent hours searching for the cheapest ink and found Click Inks to be the best.  I've been using them for years and have always been thrilled with the quality and price.  In addition to their already low prices, you usually get 1 free when you buy 2 and get free shipping on anything over $30. You can also typically save an additional 10% with code CLICK10

Sample Cups & Lids

You get a few of these in your consultant kit, but will likely run out after just  a few classes.  At each of my parties, I provide dry samples for each guest.  I like the lids b/c I typically pack my party supplies the day before or at least a few hours before the party.  In addition, the samples are then sitting out at the actual party for 30-60 minutes before anyone gets to try them.  If you live in a humid area (like I do), even 30 minutes is enough time for the products to start to hydrate from the humidity in the air.  I think the texture is kinda funny when they are half hydrated like that, so I cover all my samples with lids.

Sample Bags

I often give my hosts a few sample bags full of fruit for her to pass out with the invitations.  I also allow class guests to take samples of the fruit / veggies in home to their spouses in sample bags.

Pens

I like to have enough for each guest at my classes so we aren't scrambling to find one at the last minute.

Labels

I put labels on all the paperwork / brochures that I hand out at classes.  I also put them on all the sample bags I give out.  It is much quicker and easier than writing your info on everything you hand out.  Just like the business cards, you can often get these for "free" (you pay shipping) at Vistaprint.

Serving Tray

I like to pass out the samples I offer at parties on these trays.  I just hand the tray to the person closest to me and it gets passed around the room.

Small Cups

My host often offers to provide these, but I prefer to bring / use my own because I like these small cups.  I only want to give out sample: I can only afford to give out samples: I don't want to go through an entire gallon of milk or blender full of smoothie at each party.  But, I feel silly pouring just a tiny bit into a big cup.  With these cups, I can fill them to the top, but still not use too much product.

Silverware

Often my host will provide silverware and plate.  However, that doesn't always happen.  So, I invested in these cute baby spoon and forks to use with the food I serve.  They are fun, quick and easy to wash up, and less expensive than purchasing plastic-ware for each party.

Small Plates

Again, my host often provides this, but I like to be prepared just in case.
